Standard Consult

Typical consult, usually up to 15 minutes duration, covering 1 problem in detail, or 2 simple problems

Telehealth

A telephone or video consultation with your GP - pricing will be the same as face-to-face consultations

Telehealth consultations are available with GPs who consult at our Cranbourne North and Croydon clinics.

Medicare rules specify that to be eligible for a Medicare rebate you must have seen a GP in person, at the HealthMint location where you wish to book your telehealth appointment, within the last 12 months.

IMPORTANT: If you have any symptoms of a flu-like illness OR have been in contact with anyone who has had a confirmed case of Covid-19 in the past month and/or you suspect you have Covid-19, please DO NOT BOOK A FACE TO FACE APPOINTMENT. Please book a Telehealth appointment for an initial assessment.

Quick Repeats

Requests for repeat scripts and referrals, without an appointment

Do you need a repeat script or referral? You can now request these via HotDoc! Your doctor will review the request and if appropriate, your repeat script / referral will be done for you, without the need for an appointment!

How do I request a Quick Repeat?

You can request a Quick Repeat via our online bookings platform, HotDoc – either through our website or the HotDoc app. Click here for a guide on how to do this.

What happens if the GP does not think it is appropriate to issue a repeat script or referral without an appointment?

You will need to book in to see your GP and arrange this during a consultation.

*This appointment is eligible to new patients of HealthMint who hold an eligible medicare card for the first appointment only. To claim patients must enter their email address and phone number in the form on the Health Check Up page, and one of our friendly nurses will call to schedule the appointment!

Before your consultation, you will be sent a message, via HotDoc, prompting you to provide credit card details in order to secure your consultation. This helps to make the checkout process smoother and also removes the need for you to call the practice after a telehealth appointment to make payment. It also helps to drastically reduce the amount of ‘no-shows’, where the appointment could have been allocated to another person in need.
